Frequently asked questions about printing in Thame

Where is Thame Garment Printing?

We are a walk-in print shop in Thame, Oxfordshire, on the edge of Thame, at the Print Shop at The Player Forge, Unit 2, Nursery Farm, Risborough Road, Kingsey, Aylesbury HP17 8LT. Full directions are on our visit page.

Can I just walk in?

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome during opening hours, Monday to Friday 9am-8pm. Saturday and Sunday visits are by appointment only. You can talk through your order, look at garments and, for many jobs, watch it being printed.

How quickly can you print my order?

Turnaround depends on the quantity, the print method and whether garments are in stock. Simple small jobs can often be done quickly, sometimes while you wait. Tell us your deadline and we will give you an honest answer before you order.

Is there a minimum order?

No fixed minimum for most jobs. We print one-off t-shirts as well as larger runs. Some print methods are more cost-effective in larger quantities, and we will explain the options.

Can I bring my own garments?

Often, yes. Bring them in and we will check the fabric is suitable for printing. We cannot accept responsibility for garments that are not suited to the print process, so we will always discuss it first.

What file formats do you accept for artwork?

Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) are ideal. High-resolution PNG or JPG files also work. If you only have a low-quality image or a sketch, we can help redraw it.

What printing methods do you use?

The right method depends on the design, fabric and quantity. We will recommend the best option for your job when you pop in or request a quote. [CONFIRM PRINT METHODS OFFERED]

Do you print company logos on workwear?

Yes. We print logos on polos, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, fleeces and other workwear for businesses in Thame and across Oxfordshire.

Do you print team and club kit with names and numbers?

Yes. We print kit for sports clubs, schools, charities and events, including individual names and numbers.

How much does t-shirt printing cost?

Price depends on the garment, quantity, number of print positions and colours, and the print method. We do not publish a one-size price list because every job differs. Send us your details through the quote form for a clear, no-obligation quote.

Can you help design my t-shirt?

Yes. We can turn an idea or sketch into print-ready artwork, or tidy up an existing logo.

Is there parking near the shop?

Yes – loads of free parking right outside the shop.

How can I pay? Do you invoice trade accounts?

Trade accounts are invoiced. We accept card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, bank transfer and cash.

Yes. As well as clothing we print caps, bobble hats, tote bags, boot bags, sliders, umbrellas and changing robes.

Do you do workwear sample packs?

Yes. Starter, Crew and Site Boss packs let you try branded workwear before a full order. Prices are £149 + VAT (Starter), £429 + VAT (Crew, three people) and £249 + VAT (Site Boss). 100% of the pack fee is credited off a qualifying first order within 60 days, or 50% on smaller first orders.

Do I have to bring my own garments or can you supply them?

Either. You can bring your own garments for us to check and print, or choose from our catalogue [CATALOGUE LINK].

Do you compete with big online printers?

We are not trying to. We are a local shop for people who want to talk to a real printer, see the work being done and collect quickly.
