Hi-vis: what you need to know (EN ISO 20471)
Certified hi-vis is tested to EN ISO 20471 with a set area of fluorescent background and reflective tape. Printing a logo over too much of that area, or over the tape, can reduce visibility and may mean the garment no longer meets the standard. So we:
- keep prints off the reflective tape
- keep logos to a sensible size on the chest and back
- talk you through the placement before anything is printed
If your main contractor or site has specific hi-vis rules, bring them in or send them with your quote and we will work to them.
How we print your logo
- Hi-vis – printed transfers or vinyl, applied cleanly without covering the reflective tape.
- T-shirts and big back prints – screen printing for bigger runs, transfers for smaller ones.
- Polos, fleeces and softshells – a crisp printed left-chest logo, with an optional back print.

Minimums, turnaround and price
- Minimums: no fixed minimum – one polo for a new starter is fine.
- Turnaround: depends on quantity and stock. Tell us your deadline and you get an honest answer before you order. Small jobs can often be done quickly.

Do I need a logo file?
A vector file (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) is ideal, but a good PNG or a clear photo of your van signage is a start. We can tidy it up.
Can I add names or roles on the back?
Yes – send a list with sizes and we will check it with you before printing.
Do you invoice businesses?
Yes – trade accounts are invoiced. Prices are quoted + VAT. We accept card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, bank transfer and cash.
